Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) with Dani Grace

A tiny snowman with stick arms on a snowy mountain landscape.

I am a trained, skilled, and experienced facilitator of altered states of consciousness, and this focus drives my professional endeavors. One of my offerings is KAP treatment, which I am currently expanding with more information. In the meantime, if you're interested in exploring psychedelic healing, feel free to reach out to me via the contact form located at the bottom of the home page.

What is KAP?

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, often referred to as KAP treatment, is a therapeutic approach that combines the well-researched use of oral ketamine dosing with psychotherapy. This treatment is administered in my clinic's KAP room during dosing sessions, following the establishment of a strong therapeutic relationship. The KAP treatment typically consists of a structured sequence:

1. 3-8 preparation sessions, which are standard therapy sessions.

2. Dosing Sessions scheduled on Thursdays or Fridays every other week, totaling 6-8 sessions.

3. 1-3 integration sessions held between each dosing session and after the final session to help you process your experiences and enhance the effectiveness of the psychedelic healing provided by ketamine.

What does it feel like?

Most participants feel anywhere from relaxed to a pleasant sensation during KAP treatment. As a dissociative anesthetic, ketamine can create a feeling of being somewhat disconnected from your body, reducing awareness of body cues like pain and the position of your limbs without visual confirmation. This sensation is quite similar to what one experiences just after sedation or general anesthesia is administered before surgery, where ketamine is often used alongside other substances. Like any medication, experiences can vary, and there is always a chance that the sensations associated with psychedelic healing may be unpleasant. However, our preparation sessions help to reduce that risk as much as possible.

How much does it cost?

Prices change, so please contact me for specifics regarding KAP treatment. All sessions, except for dose sessions, can be covered by insurance. There is a fee for the medical evaluation and prescription of ketamine, which is managed by Journey Clinical, facilitating both the psychedelic healing process and the necessary arrangements.
